Kindergarten
(5–6 Years)

Introduction

At Saint Clare School for Special Education, our Kindergarten Programme is thoughtfully designed to prepare children aged 5 to 6 years for a smooth and confident transition into formal schooling.

In this important stage, children strengthen their foundational literacy and numeracy skills while exploring creative expression through music, art, and play. Each lesson is designed to nurture not just academic growth, but also confidence, independence, and social communication—key skills that will help them thrive in the classroom and beyond.

Our experienced educators and therapists work closely together to provide individualised learning experiences. Children are guided through structured routines that promote focus and self-discipline, yet balanced with joyful play that encourages curiosity and discovery

What Your Child Will Gain

Every achievement—big or small—is celebrated as a milestone of growth. By the end of our Kindergarten Programme, each child is equipped with the readiness and resilience to take the next step—whether that’s moving on to mainstream education or continuing their learning journey within Saint Clare.
